Air conditioning or Refrigeration apprenticeship training in Plymouth

  At ChanniCool, we specialise in training air-conditioning and refrigeration apprentices to a very high standard. We firmly believe in a relaxed learning environment in order to ensure that each candidate receives the necessary level of expert tuition required in order to turn them in to a highly motivated yet cost effective asset for your business. Your apprentice will undertake a 3 year course that will result in them undertaking a 3 day end point assessment to achieve their apprenticeship. Upon successful completion of their apprenticeship and end point assessment an apprenticeship certificate will be achieved at level 3 standard. At ChanniCool we offer a full apprenticeship service from initial assessment right through to and including the end point assessment. As part of the apprenticeship, your apprentice will also undertake:

6090-21 (in years 1 & 2)

6090-31 (in year 3)

2079-11 F gas (which is undertaken near the end of year 2).

Entry requirements

Ideally English and mathematics GCSE grades 4 (or C) and above. Lower grades may be considered (dependant on an apprentice passing an initial assessment grading and suitability interview).

Apprentices under the age of 18 and not holding the correct level GCSE results will have to undertake level 2 functional skills qualification(s) in order to be accepted onto the apprenticeship scheme.
